gabe reviewed Sylvester's (Restaurant)

(Rating: 2)

I have always enjoyed going to Sylvester's, that was until the last time I went. I ordered the corned beef hash omelette with toast and coffee for brunch, the other two member of my party ordered, a sandwich and an order of waffles. When the food arrived it was unbelievable, my omelette was the size of crepe, it was tiny! I was not expecting a feast but I was looking for more then four bites for my eight bucks. The french toast (two pieces) was just slapped on a plate no presentation at all. The sandwich was deemed alright but not worth ordering again. The service was also pretty bad, refills on drinks had to be asked for several times before they arrived, and our server seemed to think that we were a waste of her time. I am not ready to swear off eating there ever again, but my last experience brought me pretty close. There would have gotten three stars based on past perfomace, but because of my last meal only two will be given.
