(Rating: 3)

The Loose Goose is my go-to sandwich place in Amherst. The sandwiches are thick but aren't so overloaded that they can't be eaten (nothing falling out, generally,) and their architecture is kept simple enough that the flavors aren't deeply unexpected. That said, the mustards and other condiments used are a step out of the ordinary, and often make an otherwise ordinary sandwich enjoyable.
