(Rating: 5)

This one's a keeper! Requiring approximately the same ingredients as a traditional pumpkin pie, this dessert is lighter and more complex. The gingersnap crust adds plenty of crunchy spicyness. The chiffon filling, that relies on unflavored gelatin and separated eggs instead of evaporated milk & whole eggs for its creamy texture, is heavenly. The contrast between the two adds greatly to the overall pleasure of eating a slice.

(Rating: 3)

Good, but perhaps too light for my taste. I guess I like a good hearty pumpkin pie.
