Ever since I heard they were opening a location in Williamsburg, close to where I live I had been wanting to try there other location in Springfield to see how the food was. In my opinion the food was quite good, tasty, well spiced, very home style southern cooking. While I am not sure how they will fit in in Williamsburg, I am looking forward to trying the new location when they open.

gabe on February 06 2008 Very good beans accompanied by almost as good rice. I had the chicken which really not very good, over cooked and under seasoned. However since I was really in it for the beans and rice I did not really care that much about care about the chicken. Very good overall, perhaps I would try the sausage next time.
With smoked sausage or grilled chicken. Stewed red beans with tomatoes, onions, peppers and acadian spices.... [Edit]
