Wheatberry started as more of a bakery, specializing in organic, local bread, but their new cafe on Main Street in Amherst (across the street from the Dickinson Homestead, near the corner of Main and Dickinson) has counter-seating for six and soups and sandwiches available for breakfast, lunch, and early dinners (they close at 6.)

The menu is short and thereby easy to handle. Sandwiches are just the right size for my mouth, simple enough to comprehend but tasty enough for multiple visits. Not a lot of seating, though!
