This was a pretty simple, basic meat and bean chili. Not a whole lot of flavor, but the salsa cruda topping was an interesting addition. I'm still not sold on this being a time saving crockpot meal, for it had all the work of a usual chili, but it took 8 hours to simmer than than maybe 1 on the stovetop.
