    Smooth and creamy, but a little bland.

    I tried this soup hot and thought that it was a pretty good version. I've had better in Ireland, and this dish tended to have a stronger onion/leek flavor there. For a lighter version of this recipe, I tried using milk instead of heavy cream, and this seemed to be a fine substitute.
