Now I'm not sure I got the most out of this recipe, but I wasn't impressed. They just didn't rise enough.

I thought these were pretty good basic Baking Powder Biscuits; a strong competitor to Fanny Farmer's version. I enjoyed the lighter variety that you get when keeping the dough pretty thick - about 1/2 to 3/4 inches. They rose up beautifully!
