I have made this cake on occasion and it is very good. It is made with brown sugar instead of regular granulated sugar. The brown sugar gives the cake a rich taste. The resulting cake is one of my family's favorites. My only objection to the cake is that it takes three bowls to prepare it. This means a lot of dishes to clean up.
