Good homemade pizza is NOT hard to make, but you need a good recipe--here it is! Once you learn the basics from this recipe, you can branch out with more exotic toppings; or using the same ingredients to make (rolled) stromboli. or (the pizza turnover) calzone.

This is a quick pizza recipe, although mine did not rise as much as it should have.
