Suggestions for restaurants in the North End of Boston?

To be honest, if I want a wide range of restaurants to choose from I often go to Moody St in Waltham, but I suspect it's because I don't know where to go in the North End. Any suggestions?

Every gardener dreads that time of year when they have a million summer squash and zucchini - how do you use them all up?

Any uses for teff grain?

I have two bags of teff grain which I'm looking for a use for. Teff grain is widely used in Ethiopia, and ground into flour it can be used in bread, but this isn't flour; it's grains.

I'd love any pointers to good recipes for using the grain, or simple instructions for making flour from it, which I can then use for bread.

Best Apple Crisp?

I think my baseline for Apple Crisp has to be Fannie Farmer's simple version, although I'm sure I've had better. Anyone have a better recipe?

Best pasta salad recipe?

I've always made up pasta salad without a recipe, and I've never found it to be quite as satisfactory as I'd hoped. Does anyone have a great staple recipe they use?

What are your favorite recipes for homegrown produce?

Now that we are coming into the peak of the small garden harvest season, I'm curious as to what you-all do with your fresh produce. We have tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers, carrots, and hopefully will soon have a few peppers.
